The Under the Sea Story

Many cheery vessels I see,

happily bobbing on a bright blue sea.

Under the Sea seahorses dance with the fish,

weaving through the grass and coral with a swish.

There is not a cloud in the sky, the winds are low and so is the tide.

Quietly we gently glide and float, united on our memories in a lovely boat.

I see your smiling face, wallow in your caring gaze,

and feel the warmth of the sun’s embrace, as we sail on to a familiar place,

all the while keeping pace, with the lively underwater steeple chase.

Every day whether asea or ashore,

I travel back without a sail or an oar, and my spirits soar.

 We are there once more,

together in the craft we both adore.
